THE STORY BEHIND SMILE
Tyler Powell is the founder of The Tyler & Tyco Project and creator of the SMILE initiative.
After overcoming significant life challenges, including vision loss that resulted in legal blindness, Tyler remained committed to creating opportunities for others. Drawing from lived experience, he founded SMILE to help expand access to vision, dental, hearing, educational, and community support programs for children and families.
Through advocacy, service, and a belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, Tyler continues to transform personal experiences into meaningful impact.
